Technically this is our second van. We bought a Roadtrek Zion in 2016 and sold it 4 months later as we knew it just wasn’t going to work for us. We went out and took a tour of the Sportsmobile factory in Fresno and decided that the build quality was what we were looking for, and we could get a 4×4 , we put in an order BUT the lead time was about 16 months. So, I quickly sold the Zion and obsessed on the internet for many night until I found this Sportsmobile used at an RV dealer, the price was good and since it was used we didn’t feel bad modifying it a bit. We took it to Death Valley, the Alabama Hills, Tahoe and then were off to Alaska for 2 months in the summer (2017). We loved the van! Reliable, sturdy, great to cook and live in.
